i already posted a similar question and it got buried. i need to know, 2.5 size pipes, or 2.25. i have a 99 5.2 and i am buying a flowmaster 40. i have been searching the site for the past 2 hours and haven't found the confirming info that i need.

Easy way to tell is go buy a cheap 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 clamps, which ever fits is what you have.
Stock is 2 1/2.
