Although Thorleys web page doesn't list any applications for recent 5.9s, I was wondering why they never seem to be mentioned here. From what I read they are great for low and mid range grunt, i.e. every day driving!

The Thorley headers for the GenII daks were just the Mopars sold under a different name. Mike Leach made the headers for Mopar back then and still does. For some reason he couldn't use the Doug Thorley name for the GenIII Daks headers, but they are sold as Positive Performance Headers, or the good 'ol Mopar headers. All the same.

I think thorley headers are a very valuable asset to the automotive after market. They raise the performance of any engine and I would recommend them to anyone
