How about 155mph down US36 in a Grand National.

Sidekick... at 170 my friend has a sidekick... even if the engine was capable of breaking over 75 mph, the body of that thing would fly to peices at 80.. :P Surely you mean... KPH

Even then thats still alittle over 100mph... Thats alittle more easier to beleive but still quite difficult for the fact were talking about a suzuki sidekick.

How did you get it home after that. Surely the tiny engine in that thing was spent for good after a run like that.

Scared?....try doing 35 downhill with tailwind on a Honda Spree.

As for the Sidekick...I watched the Fast and the Furious you need at least 2 bottles of NOS to go that fast.

If that was the case those rides cost over 1000 dollars... I'd rather rent a ferrari for a day, or put the 1000 dollars into making my truck faster.

About 13 years ago I made it to about 30-35 holding onto the back of my uncles truck on a skateboard befor it scared the crap out of me and I let go. Big mistake! Woke up about 10 minutes later being pushed back to the house on my skateboard by my brother and a couple of friends. Teenagers will do some stupid s##t. My uncle just kept on going, he didn't even know that I was back there.

Try this one...900 KTS (Knautical Miles Per Hour) which is about 1080 MPH in a B1. 128000 Pounds of thrust will do that to anything... Except a Suzuki... ;)

Even with Nitrous and a Blower... (which a Stock Suzuki could NEVER handle) the gears would NEVER EVER let that thing do 170 MPH yet alone do 100 MPH without scattering at redline!

I bet a sidekick would be at 9000 RPM in 5th gear at 120MPH if it was lucky!

My old Mustange did over 160MPH. It was scary and was a one time deal at those speeds. But it had 3.08 : 1 rear gears a five speed and a built 7000 RPM 302 ( 5.0 ) to do that. That was without any boost. Single plane intake and a Holley double pumper with a big cam and roller rockers, etc. People who say they do that with stock internal Engine parts are full of crap :-p

Oh yeah... for comparison. My stock Altima does 140MPH at redline in 5th gear. Redline = 6750 RPM on those things. So you know in comparison most stock front wheel drive in that class would be about the same. Honda, Toyota, Ford, Dodge, etc. Except American cars get a speed limiter. Go figure!
