Can any of yall smart, wise people tell me how to fix my Cruise control. I have a 87 with a 3.9L V6. the truck is perfect but I drive it on the highway alot and I would like to get to cruise control to work again. If you have any Ideas that I can try without having to get any parts let me know. The reason why I don't want to buy any parts is because I'm in my last year of college and I have little money. But when I get out I'm going to be a real estate loan officer. But I'm still going to keep my good ole truck!

you might have to give a little more information on what is wrong with it, other than it just doesnt work. that could be so many different things, and most of them would involve buying new parts. But parts shouldnt be that expensive, because you can get a whole cruise control kit for like 100 bux.

Befor you do that check the fuse, check all the
vac lines and check there may just be a hole in
the vacume pot itself

You could get one of those from a bone yard

J C Whitney has a vacume actuated cruse for $69.95
1 vac line and a few wires to hook it up on any
vehicle
