Quick question on a picture u posted on any earlier forum. the picrute was the inside of the engine compartmemt of a v6 model dakota. Was that a MSD EGNITION i see on the extreme left portion of the engine compartment??
If so could you please send me the link of where i could get that for my truck!!

Yes it is
MSD 6a multi spark ignition $149.95
MSD SS Blaster coil and $35.95
MSD-8207
MSD 8.5 super conductor wires $58.95
MSD32189 They are the V8 set you just end up
with 2 extra wires perfict fit
They are a nice up grade and very easy to install
all you need is a good ground, 12 volt from Batt
and the 2 exsisting coil wires.
You can run the control box with the stock coil
and wires but if you also use the 40,000 volt
coil you will need the wires, the coil will
break the stock wires down very fast.
If you get this set up let me know and I will
explane how to hook it up in detail

Click on MSD Ignition at the top to find the
coil and wires
You will notice the system a lot on low end and
it will give you better gas milage
Its the only aftermarket ignition I will install
on these trucks, tried Jacobs and they seam to
go out for no reason and they will fight with
you to get your money back or replace the unit so
I will not touch the Jacobs anymore

Sure does,
Do you have a volt meter,
Hook the big red wire directly to a 12 volt source.
on all the time.
Hook the big black wire to a good ground.
Now with the volt meter unplug the coil wires and
put the neg black lead to ground, you need to check
which wire is which and also note which one goes to
which side of the coil. if you are using the stock coil
the MSD coils are marked + and -
While cranking over 1 wire will read a constant voltage
that is your power wire and on off for the system.
The other wire will jump up and down and that is your
signal wire.
constant voltage will be the + wire on the coil and
the signal wire will be the - on the coil.
If you need to know the colors to hook to on the MSD
I will have to get my directions don't remember off hand
If you need anything else just let me know
they are pretty easy to hook up

I Love my MSD6a and Blaster SS coil. Its a good investment.Just make sure you use a good quality cap and rotor and wires. I got about 3mpg improvement in gas mileage.

The MO26 and MO28 cap and rotor from napa has the
brass incerts and is made by borge warnner about
$14
If you also use the SS coil get some good wires.
I also noticed a smother idle and stronger low end
when I installed it on my truck.
Watch your cap they will only last about 7 8,000
miles with this system because of the high voltage
when using the hot coil.
I checked it on our old dynavision scope and it
was still striking twice at 2800 over that its
just a longer duration spark hitting 40 42,000
volts.
Gap your plugs at .050 if using both box and coil
and you will really notice the dif
I for one would not want to get zaped by this
system it would make your hair stand up
