I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before as it just recently started. After I have driven the truck for awhile, the truck will die when the shift lever has been placed in PARK. Does not do this all the time.

Well, tonight, the truck die after I pulled into the driveway after I shifted into PARK so I checked to see if an error code was stored. One was not. I guess this wouldn't bother me so much, but I have checked the gaps on the plugs and a few other connections as I just had the engine cleaned, thinking something came loose.

Anyone else have this same problem? If so, what was it.

Another thing I wanted to include and I am not sure if this is the right place or not but I have a set of Tie Rod Ends up for sale on Ebay. If anyone is interested, the URL is TIE RODS.

Thanks.

You make no mention of the number of miles on your Dak, but I would check the crank sensor.
My '98 started stalling, and intermittent starting trouble, around 80,000 miles.

Run any fuel injector cleaner through it yet? Give that a shot, if your running 87 octane, try some 89 in it. It could be something as simple as bad gas or dirty injectors.

i did that to my dak.....dont do to much b/c i burnt up a sensor and it caused my check engine light to come on and it would smoke really bad......all from one sensor. it may be that one or a few of your injectors are clogged though.....my neighbors car's injectors were clogged and made it shut off everytime he stopped but it ushally didnt do it once it warmed up.

My 97 has done that for quite awhile now. I have always used good gas so thats not the problem. I use fuel injector cleaner religously every oil change. I am about to change the plugs and wires at 90k in month or so. Maybe i'll the ingnition coil is the solution.

My 95 Dakota stalled after a long wait in a lineup. It wouldnt fire like it wasnt getting any gas but tank half-full. After sitting for about 20 minutes I tried starting the truck again and it started without any problems ran smoothly. The check engine didnt appear so no codes.
Thanks
