Hello, I have recently added Autolite 3923 spark plugs, home brew air intake, 180* thermostat, and an MBRP cat back muffler to my 2 WD 99 Dakota CC.

I was wondering what my next mod should be. I think it should be a V8 throttle body. What does everybody else think. Is one better than an other or just go with the stock V8 throttle body from Speetweaks?

As well, What is the biggest size tire that I can get on a 15"x8" rim without rubbing? 235?

Any insight would be appreciated.

i would go with the TB i got it recently and it helps alot.

and i have 235 on my stock 15 rims with it lowered 3/5 and there are still 4 inches between the tirw and wheel well. it doesnt rub so i think you will be able to get bigger than that....i am going with 205's this summer for a lil more drop =)

I just ordered the V8 stock throttle body myself. I've heard great things about this mod and I can't wait to get it!, as for tires I replaced my 205/75R15's with 235/75R15's speedometer difference of roughly 3 MPH at 55. I'm sure you can go a bit larger but you might want to take in to account the speedometer change as well as how it will look if you don't have fender flares. I believe you can have your computer flashed for the new size to correct the speedometer (as long as dodge offers the same size as standard equip). I don't know what kind your looking for... speed or All Terain, but I recieved a pretty good deal from tirerack.com (Perelli Scorpian AT's) I just checked and they still have them for 60 a piece! Here's what they look like on my truck..... http://www.geocities.com/ksmaynard/dodgedak.JPG

Uhhh, the first number in the tire size is width
the second is height of sidewall. Your OEM
tires were 205 wide new ones 235 wide how
does that change the speedo? It doesnt. The
smaller number (75) is side wall height unit of
5 drop in side wall (from 75->70) equals 30
more revs permile. Just letting you guys know.

Thanks for setting me straight there Josh, I'm still learnin. I did drive by a road construction area which had one of those signs that shows your speed and checked it twice (speedometers prob fine) just paranoia. Before I put the tires on, I put them next to the ones I replaced and the new ones were taller..... maybe cause they weren't inflated? or heavier thread?
Sorry for any miss-leading info
