Ok, on my 99 dakota 3.9 4X2 the idle is a little weird. It shakes a little bit when stopped but nothing drastic, (similar to a 4 banger with over a 100K) But when i hold the accelerator for example at 1500rpm and try to keep it steady, the idle tach. surges down and comes back up even though im holding the pedal down. Anyone have any idea? Any information would be appreciated.

Ebay has TONS of these generic intakes for like 30 bucks with shipping. Is there really that much of a difference between them and an airaid, or k&n or any other of the name brands. If so why? Thanks for any response.

Alright! thanks a lot. I thought it may have been a tune up but wasnt sure, i just got it and they detailed the engine. It looked like newer wires but who knows what they did. I am gonna start there.
