I just updated my website with interior photos for anyone who's interested. It was raining today so the pics were taken in the garage. I still haven't added the leather pieces to the door panels, but you'll get the idea anyway.

Here's the addy: http://www.geocities.com/blizzzzard69/InteriorPhotos.html

Seeeeee ya!

Thanks, Mike! Yeah, I am happy with it. Gave me a couple of fits when I was installing it, but I think that was 'cuz of the lack of installation instructions. I finally went straight to Katzkin and got the answers I needed. It's about half the cost of the factory leather option and you can get it customized with whatever colors you want. That's what appealed to me.

Actually, it's cooler in the truck now with the leather. The cloth interior was dark grey. The dove grey leather doesn't seem to hold the heat that the cloth did. Just came back from MN trip where the temps were 90+ and it wasn't bad at all.

And, I dunno 'bout the high class remark, Hawk! I don't have any more class now than I did before....hehehe ;o)

man, that looks soooo good! I am going to look into them when I get my next truck, if I don't order it with leather already. I have noticed that in order to get the leather option, you have to get the power seat, leather steering wheel and somthing else, which means it is really more than just the ~$600 option for the leather seats.

Thx for posting

Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

I bought the leather when Jonas was running the Katzkin group buy. I believe the buy is over, but you could dig up Jonas email addy from the old postings and ask him.

Good luck!

No Doc, actually it cost around $500. But I figured in the power seat, leather wrap wheel, and the other goodies you needed to order to get leather interior and came out with $900. That's how I was figuring things. I did install it myself. Friends thought I was nuts to go tearing the cloth interior off with only 1,500 miles on the truck, but didn't turn out too bad. Hadn't tackled something like that before ... aside from the cheapie seat covers you buy at Autozone .. put them on my old roadrunner once....:o)

See ya

What did you do about the carpet on the middle cargo thing? If I remember right there is carpet on the bottom if you lift it up. Have you done the doors yet? How does it look now, with the carpet on the doors? The seats look awesome!:D

Middle cargo thing? hmmmm .... I think you're talking about the bottom of the rear seats? If so, the Katzkin covers have carpet on the bottom of the rear seats, so when you flip the seat bottom up the carpet is there.
Still haven't done the door panel inserts ... but they're not carpet. They're leather-looking vinyl.
Thanx Josh

Lol, I know that was a little confusing what I said. What I am talking about is the thing that is between the two front seats, has the lid and you can store things in it. For some reason I can't think of a name to call it?:) You know what I mean? I just looked at mine and it has cloth on the bottom of it. Thanks:)

Ahhhh ... you must have the 40/20/40 seat, eh? I've got buckets with a console between the seats.
I'm sure they included that carpet for your setup too, but can't say for sure.

The only thing that was missing from the Katzkin covers was this ... on the bottom of the factory rear seat covers were elastic "loops" that you could slide stuff into and not have it rolling around under the rear seats. The Katzkin covers just have carpet under the rear seats ... no loops. Not that big of a deal, I hadn't thought of anything to use those loops for anyway (aside from maybe a rifle or shotgun).

Ahhh, okay I get it now:) For some reason I didn't see that in your pics! I wonder if it would be the same price for my seats as yours? Hmm, guess I'll have to send Kat an email and see:) Thanks for your help!

I chose dark graphite and dove gray. Matched pretty close to the factory interior colors.

The dove gray is light .. but wouldn't call it white. They've got quite a selection of colors shown on their website. You should be able to get a good feel from those. Closest to white would be their "pearl" color.
