Congratulations. Maybe you could repost and let us in on what "style" mods you have or might do. Me? When I eventually take possession of mine, this first "style" mod will be to put some body-color paint on the lower bumpers (factory cheap gray on the SLT package) and the grille as well. I'll leave the chrome on the upper bumpers. Oh, yeah...... an "Itchy and Scratchy" decal on the rear window.

I'm also painting my front and rear lower bumpers on my SLT. I'm painting them black to match my body color but leaving the chrome trim and then I'm getting a Stull billet grille, should look pretty good. The cheapest I could have the bumper painting done in my local area is $360 at Fender Mender, am I getting ripped off? They're using high quality paint, the stuff they use on Mercedes, but that still seems really expensive.

I just got my front and back bumpers, door handels, tailgate handel, and the little black strips above the Clubcab all painted Flame Red, 3mils , and 2 coats of clear. All top of the line paint. It looks unbelieavable. $200.00 cash. Talk around, One place wanted 1000.00 other were around 800.00 but I found a guy who did it at the shop one saturday on his "own time" Paint cost me about 100.00 (red is really expensive) and he shot and cleared it for 100.00 labor. Id say just ask around and compare prices, also make sure you see some of their work before you get it done. One good thing is to check out their car, or ones they have done.

I have the SLT package and my truck is silver, so I never really picked up on the front bumper being a dull gray, but I guess there's no need to paint =).

I have looked into some step bars (Club cab length) and some Yosemite Sam "Back Off" mud flaps ut I took some ribbing on that one from my wife.

I'd also like to upgrade the stock tunes. Most likely will be Alpine. The new stuff for 2001 looks awesome (both looks and functionality). They are offering a 60Watt CD receiver for about $329.00 at Tweeter. I'll check Crutchfield before I give them any money though.

Lastly, and the biggest thing I have thought of for it so far is a custom paint job. As I dais before the truck is silver, and I though a mountain scene with some wolves, mountains and a moon done in white to gray to black would look really cool, even if it is just on the tailgate. I've been an artist in the past, but this would take some research to get it done right, and maybe someone more qualified to do the airbrushing, hehe.
