1) their fiberglass
2) glass works unlimited is a well known company threw out the prerunner racing industry for quality work
3) sorry but their only made for the 97+ models
best advice is eather go on a search engine on the net and type "prerunner fenders for ****(year) Dakota truck". or just call glass works unlimited and find out if they make those fender or not. if they don't, you and a couple of guys call them a bug the hell out of them till they make you a pair or give you a price for a custom set, but they shouldn't give you a problem though. sorry if i couldn't help you on this subject. have a good day

if ya ever need prerunner parts for the dak just let me know and i'll try to track it down if i don't have it for ya at that time.
i saw a forum here talking a prerunner ram(but it was just a crapy one from a couple of guys that got together and got a few sponsors). there's one but i don't have the site right now, but i'll find it for ya. it was sponsored by Coors(you know that beer company). it was just to sweet. well thanks complement Joe E. and for you Knobbyman stick around THERE'S MORE! lol

no man, i wish! i should be getting the fenders after the first of the year, so i'll let ya know how they are once i get them. you should be able to go up an inch or two on tire size with the fenders, but the only problem is if they do rub your out $350-450 becuase of busted fiberglass.

What about some fenders for the 96 and older!? I was told that they were out there at one time. Is this true?
How do we gen I/II folks rate on the priority list?
I tell ya, an extra inch at the rear of my fender opening is much needed(tire rub).

Alright you West Coast Gen I/II Dakota owners, "the man" has stepped up to the plate on this. Fenders can be found new (on the web)for under $75 a piece, less if they are used I'm sure. SOMEBODY out there has to be looking to "Pre-Run" their rig. My dilema is that I am in Southern Maryland, not Southern California. I am sure they would like to have a vehicle they could hold them up to and check for proper fitment. I know if the Navy had me out at China Lake near Ridgecrest where I grew up, I would be hand carrying a pair of fenders down to Huntington Beach tomorrow!

We do not need the truck just a set of steel fenders so we can build from them, they do need to be straight so that when you put them on they line up.We are really good about the look and fit being good. Are we not folks? COME ON

OK, I figured out the answer to #1. That's a bit far for me but not impossible. I'm about an hour north of San Fran. Any guess on shipping costs?
I looked at your "Desert Kit" for the toyota, man that would be an instant sale if you had the same package for my Dakota. I'm putting a solid axle up front, moved forward about two inches to clear the rear of the stock opening. If you make a new fender, would it work with this setup?

Ok here it is the shipping would be about 75 to 85 from San Fran. We are in Huntington Beach Cali
On an average it takes 4 to 6 weeks to build them
No inner linners yet.
Discounts.Who ever gets me the steel fenders will get the 1st set for free. I will only build products that will generate enough income to evenout the design and tooling costs. So dont send me some Old school fenders that only one or 2 peolple want. Not to be rude don't take it the wrong way but to design aset of fenders it takes about 80 to 100 hours @ 55 an hour you do the math.

it's awsome to see that i'm not the only dakota owner on the east coast that wants to fix their truck up as a prerunner. soon prerunners will take over the world(well everyone has to have a dream, right?). hahaha

Josh I am the Owner well President of Glassworks Unlimited I do work on Design projects but not as much now, running this place is a full time job, but I have the final say in how I want things to look. I come from a backround of Automotive design I am vey picky when it comes to what things look like and what is right for the vehicle some think my designs are to conservative.
Bedsides for what make year and model are you talking about?
