Well, I'm goin right after work. Reg Cab R/T 2001, all stock except the 52mm t/b, and FIPK. Anyone guess what it will run. It's about 88 degrees outside and a little humid. I'm thinking a 14.9-15.4 on the stock radials. Sound too optimistic? I'll post the times later tonight.

Results are in! I'm a little dissapointed, but oh well. It was 93 degrees at the track tonight so it was a little destructive to great et's.
1st run: 60' 2.3410
1/8 10.1101@ 69.15
1/4 15.7615@ 87.24
2nd run: 60' 2.2896
1/8 9.9105@ 70.42
1/4 15.4746@ 88.41

3rd run 60' 2.2221
1/8 9.7761@ 70.71
1/4 15.3194@ 88.65

I quit after that, but i was getting quicker every run. I think the t/b is too big for a stock motor, as it felt real soggy about 10 feet out. You could herar it sucking, but it sounded like it was bogging down. I have a 2600 rpm stall and some PPH headers on my floor waiting to go on. I'm gonna ditch all 3 convertes so that should help. I was told that the 01 and up have the death flash. That might explain the soggy take off. Couldn't even spin the stock tires at the track! Sorry for the long post.

It is what is expected for a typical r/t on a hot day. The throttle body is too big until you do exhaust mods, intake change, cam swap, and a performance computer flash programming done. Then that throttle body will help a lot, otherwise it kills low end torque quite a bit (the r/t's best feature).

Tell me about it! Well all the mods are on my floor. The stall should help a bunch also. I am going to buy a M1 intake and a Hypertech programmer next week. I'm gonna put on the exhaust, then go to the track. Converter, then track. Intake, then track, and finally do the programer while at the track. Wanna keep good records.

You will feel and see the performance gains then. If you are still begging for more..go for the cam. Then if you are STILL begging for more...do what i did on my 93 Dak and add nitrous!
