I was wondering if anyone knew if the front coil springs on a V6 truck were softer than the front coils springs on a V8? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks

from what i read in the service manuals at work about spring rate and pound rating, the V-6 springs are a tad softer due to less weight in the front. i may be wrong, call your local dealer and see if the parts #'s are the same. i cant remember right off hand.
