Message: Yeah I didnt notice a difference at all! Although it is still winter here and i dont get a chance to really drive it l;ong distances! The longest I drove was 180 miles there and back and was above half a tank! Thinkin about 400 miles to the tank. I got exhaust FIPK IAT adjuster 3923's and thats it!

Message: The only way to go 400 miles on a tank in a Dakota is on the back of a towtruck. And we all know that's not going to be necesary because we drive Mopar. Ahhh, yeah.
The only time I miss my Honda is when I'm filling up the gastank.

Message: A 180 t-stat chnge, and no difference in MPG? YOU didn't gain 35 rwhp either? What's wrong?
Did you expect to see a measurable difference in a 15degree different temp thermostat?
The slightly cooler engine helps in many ways, but, I didn't expect to see a measureable change in things such as MPG, or HP for that matter. Although the slightly cooler engine has more POTENTIAL to make more HP.

Message: Sorry to bust your bubble there Mr. 400/tank but the needle moves faster after the halfway point. If you were to fill up the tank to the max, it would naturally take longer to reach the halfway point than from the halfway point to "E". I personally get about 300 from full to 1/8 when on long highway trips which equates to about 18mpg.
That is with some drafting, minimal weight, and very few WOTs.

Message: I get over 400miles easy on a tank, on the highway, A/C on going fast, but it's a 4.7, 5spd manual, 3.55LSD,
AND a QC, which has the 24 gallon tank!
Like others have posted, I can get about 20-22mpg highway.

Message: Dang people are sensitive in here!!! Didn't mean to get you all uptight about it! Well to tell ya the truth I drove it last weekend up there and I now have 319 miles on it to be exact and its just under a quarter tank close to the time to get your ace to the gas station alarm. True.... most of it is highway and I know I'd only be gettin 250 or so on the streets maybe less! Just was sayin on the original message ..No not really a big notice on the stat like I had said before !
