Well I plugged it in and took it for a ride. First off I'll I say I'm a
person thats not easily impressed and very negative. Having said that, here
is what I experienced: A rough idle for about 15 seconds then leveled out.
Quite a bit of smoke, it ran rather rich for about 5 minutes and the exhaust
had a strong fuel mixture. That also seemed to get better in a few minutes
and pretty well got back to normal after about a 10 mile drive. From the
start it will now spin the tires, which it would not do before so the torque
management was definately removed. It does seem to get to the 3000 range a
little quicker and the shift point at WOT is now about 4950 to 5000 rather
than 4800 as before (he said 5100 to 5200). The speed limiter was 115 and I
just pegged it out at 120 so that was also removed. Maybe I just need more
motor work (cam, lifters, TB, ect) but I was kinda disappopinted. I know
that a $500 flash aint gonna turn it into a beast, but I was expecting more
of a change, maybe I was expecting too much. But at least I have it now and
I can start adding more mods, it will come in handy in the future.
My truck has the stock intake manifold, K&N
FIPK, 180t, 3923's, Brass Cap, MOPAR Wires, Flowmaster, Basically a stock
truck, no internal mods.

Message: Did you have a stock pcm before,or the performance pcm from mopar?Just wondering how the flash compares to the mopar pcm.I imagine the torque management is still present with the performance pcm.

Message: LMAO ! Thats funny Alex, but I guess I'll have to send to ASE or Kenne Bell to get my "drivability" improved. Like I said before, I guess I just had my hopes set too high. Probably because all of the people I asked about this flash have the M1 and had the M1 flash done which is a "hotter" flash. Some said you can get the M1 flash without actually having the M1 intake, but the guy at B&G told me not to do that.

Message: Todd: I had the stock PCM cause its a 2002, Dodge only makes the performance pcm for 2000 and earlier. I do know that my truck will now break the tires loose at will.
