lol 5000 or slips.....someone has seen the fast and the furious a few too many times, or is just stupid, racing someone for slips without even seeing so much as the EXTERIOR of the truck..

Do you live your life a quarter-mile at a time? *rolls eyes*

Fastest i got my truck too was a 9.1 1/8th mile. Didnt race quarter really. That was with drop in k@n, underdrive pulley, 50 mm tb, msd wires, and 100 wet shot. 60ft 2.1, it sucked because of spinning and then i couldnt hit the juice till half track because of the rear end breaking lose on me. And that was on 20psi street tires.

Stock except for a MagnaFlow muffler, and homemade K&N filter and tube thingy. Neither of which made much difference.

That's an awesome run there Demon.....

Looks like a couple of us will be headed for Reynolds in May....KRC is sponsoring a Dakota shoot-out at the Mopar event.

We have a few months left to get these things running....

Thumbs up on the 14.5 in the CC auto.

2000 4.7 rc 3:92 5-SPEED nitroussteve intake/k&n ravin exhaust.this is without the NITROUS!

7.9 0-60
14.85 1/4 AT 99.8 MPH. 60 DEGREES/LIGHT WIND

what is a baseline times for a stock rc 4.7?
my bottle bracket i ordered for the nitrous bottle comes tomorrow, when i get the bottle back on i will try the g-tech again.they are not exact, but close, and are really fun.

If your simulated mph was 99 you should be running low 14's to high 13's. Sounds like that G-tech is a little off on the mph side...14.85 seems rational.

Nitrousteve

I've hit a 14.896 @ 91mph in my 4.7 5-spd 3:92....
That was with great air and no humidity, and a biting track. Normally runs anywhere from 14.9's to 15.2's...Depending on track conditions and my 60ft. times.

Stock with the exception of a flowmaster muffler...Sounds like the ET is pretty dead on, but the MPH is almost always off in the 1/4 with the G-Tech, as the times at the track are usually the average of the last hundred Ft. or so before the traps.

FWIW:
the mph reading of a G-Tech is your actual mph at the end of the 1/4 mile .. not the trap speed like at a real strip ... i.e. its higher than what you'd get at a drag strip. ... the 1/4 mile time is usually more accurate than the mph on G-Techs.
