Subject: flash gives better mileage?

Message:
I've read a few posts claiming that a flash improves gas mileage, something to do with advancing the timing, is this true? If so that would be great, I don't get great gas mileage out of my quadcab and really wanted a flash but didn't want to shell out the extra for premium fuel all the time, but hell if I get improved mileage and power I'll gladly pay more at the pump. Any thoughts?

Dave @ BG said that his flash will definatly improve my milage if I dont have a heavy foot all the time. I definatly dont have a problem w/ putting 93 octane in my tank... I've actually been doing it for about the past month and the most I've paid is $1.20/9. I love Georgia gas prices!
