Subject: 2.5" or 3" exhaust

I am about to put a custom catback exhaust (not dual, single side swept) on my '01 4.7L auto, CC. I've heard about Gibson and all the rest, and I am going to be using a local shop to install a high-flow muffler (like DynoMax, Bullet, FlowMaster), and either a 2.5" or 3" pipe. Do you guys have any preferences or experience on determining the size I should put on. I also have a 360AirIntakez (9" K&N), TPS adjusted, IAT, ported TB.

Just keep your stock pipes but have the new muffler put in place of the old. The stock pipe is already stainless and 2.5" is all you'll need unless yer gettin a blower.
