Subject: Grill guard IP: Logged
Message: Aftering hitting a patch of water last night and taking out a stop sign, I have decided to invest into a grill guard. I was wonder if there is anyone out there with a quad cab with the grill guard and how much it costs installed. Thanks,
Chris

Message: Actually the guard is fairly easy to install, or the dealer will do it for ya. you can buy a guard from dealer also.. check there prices.

Message: Yes, but the dealers price was like 575$ and it was a ugly piece. If anyone out there has a grill/brush guard and has pictures, could you please send or post! Thanks

Message: Ever heard of
'driving for the conditions?'
If there was a stop sign, never should have happened. Why were'nt you going slow enough to stop on wet pavement?
NOw you want a grill guard, for what?
So you can continue your lack of regard for the driving conditions, and probably hurt/kill somebody next time?
Think about it. Grill guards aren't the answer.
Improving your driving skill might be the ticket.
If you have a grill guard on a dodge dakota, I might think you're a redneck.

Message: Since some kids decided to throw fireworks at my truck and to bust them on my rear window. Leaving it cracked. Yes, you dickhead I did drive out of the conditions. Maybe I should come throwing some fireworks on your new car and see how you react. I don't care what you think. I personally think you're an ignorant bastard. But that's just me. Thank you, come again.

Message: hey chris,
i have the black powder-coated Manik gaurd on my 2000 CC. the install is do it yourself-able as longe as you have some nice shorty open end wrenches, or even beter self-ratchet... i got it for x-mas from my father in law i think about $350- it even has pre drilled and grommeted holes for lights...
www.manik.com
p.s. a grill gaurd doesn't mean i'm a redneck- now as soon as i get my 30 dogs out of the yard and pull my camaro down off those blocks i'll try and post some pics.... anybody need a used water heater- got one under the porch.

Message: chris, I wouldn't worry about it, that was mild compared to my wildfire I had last week about my dent.
You gotta admit though, I bet it held up well! I sliced a thick pine tree clear in half when I hit it. Those chrome bumpers are awesome, kinda worth the 340 or whatever it costs to get it replaced really.

Message: Hell yea it held up. The stop sign was across the street, and the street sign was in the complete opposite direction of the stop sign. It was scary as hell. But I scared the piss out of the kids. They came back and gave me 200 cash and ran off. Job done:)
