hi everybody i need some help this is what i have
97 dak sport cc 4x4 5.2l
powerdyne charger w/9lb pulley w/fmu and inline pump
m-1 intake
24lb fms injectors
msd w/btm (dont really need it no detonation)
50mm f&b throttle body
electric fan black magic
holley 255lph in-tank pump
blow off valve
custom made ati air hat and intake pipe
huge ass air filter on powerdyne intake side
level 10 transmission w/ 2200 rpm stall converter
positive performance headers w/3" back no cat spintech muffler and cat box
mike leach custom pcm flash

ok thats out of the way the problem im having is as soon as u mat it from a dead stop it is a dog no tire spin nothing until it revs a little and it starts pullin from the boost but sometimes i mat it and it just smokes the tires i can not figure this thing out it also falls on its face when it shifts into second please if anyone knows anything about this please get back to me also i talked to marty from krc and he said i am getting to much gas from a sudden rush into the fmu so he told me to put a valve on the vacuum line to the fmu to slow down the process but i didnt work i have a fuel pressure gauge and when i mat it it drops from 60psi to like 50-55psi i dont know what else to do thanks for your help

Sounds like what Marty said was correct to me.

Your gettin too rich.
Reaserch ways to control your boost fuel enrichment system and you should have it figured out.

How about a "progressive" fuel pressure regulator.
Once tuned in, it would maintain the fuelpressure based on the engine demands. This helps the engine-computer more preceisly control the fuel in closed-loop mode.

I know several folks that have installed a meter on the dash that connects up to the existing exhaust oxygen sensor. This meter will monitor if your engine is rich/lean.

It is also possible that your O2 sensor is just starting to get inaccurate thus telling the computer the wrong information. When was the last time it was replaced?

Just a guess...
I think your fuel pressure is to high to start with. It should be about 50PSI. The FMU should bump your fuel pressure when the air boost comes up past zero.

The other thought is...
Pull the fuse out of your aux boost pump and see if it make a big difference at the bottom end. Carefull about hitting the boost without FMU.

thanks guys for your suggestions i already have a air fuel ratio gauge hooked up to its own sensor and as far as disconnecting the inline pump i am going to try that but im going to bypass it and just use my intank pump holley says it can support up to an 800hp motor so ill see what happens thanks everyone

well guys i tried dissconnected the fmu and inline pump and just go with the intank pump, off the line the thing is still a dog and it only has 40psi fuel pressure all the time regardless of boost. the good thing is it doesnt ping which i cant figure out but the thing feels like a dog now i dont understand and on top of it all im going to the track tomorrow please help me!

WELL EVERYBODY TOOK IT TO THE TRACK TODAY AND TO MY SUPRISE IT RAN BETTER THEN I THOUGHT MY BEST ET WAS A 14.71 AND MY BEST MPH WAS 93.5. CONSIDERING THE TRACK IS LIKE 3000 FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL IM PRETTY HAPPY BUT IM STILL HAVING A MAJOR PROBLEM OFF THE LINE AND I NOTICED AT TOP END AT AROUND 85 MPH THE CAR LOOSES POWER FOR A SECOND THEN GAINS IT BACK IF ANYBODY CAN HELP ID APPRECIATE IT ATTN. DUNER OR BERND OF SURFA ANYBODY?
