Subject: Blower won't work? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2001 quad cab. The A.C. and heat both work but the blower won't blow out any air. Any ideas what it might be? Thanks.

Message: If it won't blow at any speed you will need to check fuses and relays, and the motor itself to see what the problem is. If it blows on some speeds but not others its a bad blower motor resister array.

Message: If its the blower motor its definately not hard to change. I took the complete dash out of my 2001 QC. It was wrecked and the ventilation system was cracked from the wreck. I ended up replacing all of it. Its really not a hard job. If you have any questions let me know. I can definately help you out. By the way its about a 5 continuous hour job. Not bad.

Message: Make sure it is actually bad before going in there. Isn't it still under warranty? Mine failed, and it was the resistor block that allows the multiple speeds. The input wire was corroded. Seems odd that a 2001 is failing, tho.
