I am currently debating on kennebell flash or ase chip BUT if I need to take the truck to the dealer will diagnostics still plug in and check without problems, I know with my jet it says to take it out first, BUT you cant do that with those options.
HELP!!!!!!!!

I have the kenne-bell pcm and love it but the speed limiter was not removed if you have the 98mph speed limiter it's staying.
have not seen dyno numbers between the ase and kennebell so the decision is still in the air.

I am concerned about the same thing. If you have your computer flashed or a chip installed what happens at the dealer when they do warranty work. Will the diagnostics be all screwed up..?

The ASE chip WILL remove the speed limiter (on the 4.7's I know).
If you go to ASE's website ( www.asechips.com ), it says that when a dealer checks it out/runs a diagnostic on it,,,that it doesn't show up, and he can't tell it's there.
This is what I got from their website. You might want to give them a ring to get all the details. It's an 800#,,it's free,,call'm.
No info on the kennebell chip/flasharoo

26 hp (must be at the fly), but still sounds like
a good deal.
I have the Jetstage2, would it work with the
ASE chip, or just negate it?

I don't have the ASE chip,,,,yet. Just been reading about it.
I like the idea of a chip as opposed to a flash from people who do it illeagally. I question those Mike Leach, and KRC performance flashes. I'm sure they are good,,but I talked to Marty at KRC and they can't guarantee you ANYTHING, no returns,,,NO where near the experience of ASE. And Marty told me that the people who do the flash for him, have to "BORROW" the equipment from a dealership.
ASE just sounds like a much more established,,,specialized in that area company. Plus I've heard nothing but praise on the work, and service. Those do it your self'ers can't give you an exact turn-around date, but ASE I believe is like no more than 2 days. So,,if you send it Mon., you would have it Thurs.
And the price is about right.
