Chris,

There wasn't enough interest in the 2.5L turbo kit so we went with the 4.7L first, then the 3.9/5.2/5.9L (5.9L being a twin turbo).

bernd do you think you could muster up the components- like everything but the turbo and intercooler? fuel injectors, exhaust manifold, map sensor, and whatever else is needed? i know i need to get the intercooler piping custom made. i was really looking forward to that kit. but i understand that the interest wasnt high. also about how much for the parts? thanks i appreciate it.

Dude, save your time and money, invest in a
v8 or at least a six. When all is said and done,
youll have a measly amount of HP on an
engine that wont last much more than 100000
miles. There is no replacement for
displacement...

teamfast that was actually my first idea (and still might happen) but i have heard many bad things about engine swaps, like ill have to work on it all the time, cause something wont be working properly. i saw the turbo and realized how much easier and probably less expensive it would be to get it all set up. i would like to talk to someone that has done a 2.5-v8 swap on a gen III successfully, cause i really want a v8. it would probably be more expensive too tho. which is why i perked up when i saw the turbo idea. what all would i have to replace when doing a v8 swap? tranny? rearend? wiring harness, ecu, motor mounts how would it work with my gauges? would i have to replace those as well?
thanks
steve
