Has anyone put nitrus on a 4.7? I know that NX is the better choice for magnum engines but It seems that the 4.7 is a defferent animal. Any info would be great!

I think that I am the only one on here that has done it so far.I have the NX kit and really am enjoying it. The max I have gone so far is the 100hp shot. At that level you will need to run a good octane booster with premium fuel. Most of th e time I use the 75hp shot with just premium fuel. The reason for not going farther is the pistons are questionable for anything more according to most. But spoke with the owner of NX and he claims the weak link is the auto trans, slipping. But for my own piece of mind (and my wallet) I'll stick to the 100hp shot. With that 100hp shot with my heavy(4800lbs) truck it did drop my 1/4 mile times by 2 seconds. Lots of fun!! WHATEVER YOU DO,DO NOT BUY FROM JOHN STEWART AT NITRIOUS WAREHOUSE!!!!!

nitrous on my 4.7 proved to be a bad combo. i wouldnt rec it to anyone. had a small problem with detonation melted all 8 pistons. thats not good.the piston turned to dust kinda funny in all but not if i had to pay for it . and that was on a 150 shot.good luck with the nos.

I will probably try it someday but I won't try a 150shot more like 75-100 max. At 150 should have 100 plus octane and timing retard with colder plugs.

Just kidding. Yours is the first I have seen that appears identical to mine with all the same goodies. Same colour and wheels also. Sure is one sweet ride don't you think.
BTW Your sig says 3.91. Isn't it 3.92. Mine is anyways.

Yeah it is 3.92, I keep forgetting to change it thanks for the reminder. It is fun as h@ll to drive but I hate to say I want MORE!! Oh wellhave to wait until I get some bills paid. 75 hp shot of NOS would be fun.
