"will I lose Lowend?" Don't think of it as losing low end, think of is as relocating some to the high end.
Ho manifold has slightly shorter runners, which work best at higher RPMs.

scroll down to "Manifold, Intake", and read about it.

Then go to the bottom of that page and look at the comparison 4.7L HP/Torque curves.

could look into getting a 03 or 04 intake manifold. it has been said they are HO intakes and flow better than the older HO intakes. I just dont know if it will fit on a 2001 4.7. I would think it would.

I was looking at the different HO Intakes, and they look a little different, on that jeep site above.

I am only worried if my 70mm TB for a 2001 4.7, will fit on a new Manifold.

I have a '01 4.7 with HO cams. I passed on the HO-type intake manifold to keep the nice sub-3500 rpm most-used torque range of the 2001 intake. Some 70mm TB users have had driveability problems. I went for the port/polish mod on the stock 68mm.

That's what I did too - wanted to keep power down lower in a truck.

Bungo - think about gears for your next mod. If that's too pricey you could see gains with a flash or chip too.
