If/when you do buy one, I'd say avoid the group buys. I've been through a lot of hassle buying my superchips from a private party and getting Superchips to update the unit to work on my truck. Superchips only recognizes retail stores/no online stores as being "authorized" to sell their products. So, if you don't have a receipt from an authorized dealer, Superchips will not perform any work ever on your unit.
I went to their website and just started calling dealers from their list and I found as much as $100 difference in prices between stores, so definitely shop around if you want a deal. There were some good prices in California, one dealer I think that I was going to go with was in American Canyon.
