Message:
When it is cold my truck will not turn over. It behaves as if there is no battery. Sometimes a slight click, sometimes nothing but the lights shine brightly before, during and after turning the ignition.

Yesterday it didnt start and today, 10 degrees warmer it did fine.

When it is having problems I can try to start it over and over again. Eventualy it will turn over then start without hesitation but it takes between 2 and 50 tries.

Anyone else have this problem? A solution? Cold starter issues???

Help please!

Probable = Starter -=- there is a ( solenoid )
[ power switch ] in the starter.
Chryco never did make a " perfect " starter...

If you know an electrical {automotive } rebuilder
= shouldn't cost too much to fix..

Whenever my Dakota is being bad and won't turn over, I usually scold it and kick it in the shins. Sometimes he doesn't get dinner, too.

are you turning on your lights before you try to start because if you are sometimes that takes all the power away from your ignition everything and sometimes it dosent i had the same problems and it stopped when i waited to turn on my lights until after i started it.
