Ok, this may be a stupid question, but will getting 4.11's to replace my 3.55's change the dyno graph? I know I'm not getting "more" HP & torque, but it seems like I'd be getting in the power zone quicker. But then, the graph is RPM vs. hp/tq, so I guess "getting in the power zone quicker" probably wouldn't change anything in a dyno. Right?

No the gears wouldn't change the graph, it would still show the same number at the same rpm no matter how fast it got there.

So what do the gears do? Add hp/tq? If so how much? Where do you get them? Are all dakotas equipped with the 3.55 gears? I know its a lot of questions but hey im curious.

the new gears will move the power curve so it will hit earlier IE, you will feel the power curve at a lower speed than before. YOur top end will also be a little slower.

There are more gear ratios for the dakota stock then just the 3.55, the lowest is 3.21 and that was on the v6. then there is 3.55 whichh could be on v.6 and the v8 , and then the 3.92 which come on all R/T's and some SLT with the towing package.

3.92 is an option that is not limited to SLT package; also it can be ordered without tow package. It is not included in tow package; there have been some misleading posts on this.
