 Subject: Towing ATV trailer

I tow an ATV trailer with two 500 cc ATV's and I am thinking
about hauling a 400 sport quad in the rear bed at the same
time.
Do I need to add airshocks or air bags? And, where is the best
place to get these items?

What are the specifics on your rig? I have an 89 long box 3.9l 4x4, and i can tow a 1400lb trailer with 3 500cc 4x4 atv's on it and have our banshee in the back without fazing it. the only problem i have is with braking, gotta watch a long ways ahead. as far as the suspension carrying the load, having the banshee in the back just starts to make mine ride nice. My rig is old and wore out, and it can pull about anything i hitch on to or throw in the back, i'd say you should be safe stock, but that also depends on wether you have a 4cyl 2wd shortbox or a 5.2l quad cab.

You can tow about anything with the correct setup.
From what I read, you don't have a tow package on
your Dakota. Install a class five system and by
all means, a tranny cooler, unless it's a stick.

What the fudge are you on man if you got a cummins in a ram it is at least a 3/4 ton you would not even know a trailer with 10 atvs on it was back there. Why the hell do you even own a 3/4 pickup if you don't even know if it can haul 3 ATVs. Can't you read the sticker on the door frame that says the towing capabilitys!
