Subject: Transfer Case Fluid?
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey fellas, I have a Haynes manual that says my transfer case takes Dexron 2 fluid. However, when I went to get some at the parts store they gave me Dexron 3, which the only dexron I've ever heard of. Could someone fill me in on what im suppose to be puttin in my transfer case? Also, I'm fixin to install a CenterForce dual friction clutch and was wondering if anyone has any pointers or horror stories on things not to do. Thanks Guys!!

Desron III is a replacement for Dexron II "It meets or exceeds the requirements"

About the clutch, I'd contact speedtweeks.net. They seel them and can help you through the install. I'd suggest calling them because they are swamped with emails and take a while to reply.

Hey what electric fan are you running and how well does it cool your 318?

I have a 16 inch fan that I got from Autozone 3 years ago. It has lasted through quite a few underwater submerges. On a day over 95 if i sit in traffic for more then an hour then i have to shut off my A/C. Other than that it works like a champ! I really want the one that fits specific on a dakota on Truckperformance.com. But its a little spendy.

125 hp Nitrous, 5.5 Inch Lift, 33x12.50's .........etc. etc. etc.
