Anyone notice with their mods that their dak has a slight hesitation along with a gasp of air if you stomp on it from a stop. I am assuming I just need to upgrade my TB after all of the changes, would this be correct? Love the intake and Dynomax, especially after I reset my PCM, thanks for those noce little but effective tips

I noticed a slight hesitation when i first start up in the morning...but once i let her warm up it works liks a charm...But i didnt notices this till after i put the intake on. So i would think that it would go away if i put the stock air box back on.

I noticed after I installed my Cold intake was the power band increased around 2k-3k. I don't notice a hesatation but then I have the V6 so not much power behind it to begin with. I'd like to add mods that increase low end tourqe and hp. Around the 500-1k rpm range

Thanks DakotaMan2002, ya add one thing, only to have to add another. Who ever invented mods, must be rich! My power band raised also, can't complain though, its nice to have power when passin on country roads. I am also interested in giving the low end some puch. Been scoutin out a local bone yard, waiting for that elusive "cheap" V8 tb.

Have you fellas done the throttle position sensor modification? This eliminates the off idle stumble that you have described. It definitely worked for my '02 4.7L.

I personally haven't, but I will give anything a try, especially if its cheap like the tps mod.

the TPS mod didn't cure the gasp-then-go thing for me. I adjusted the idle at the TB then adjusted the TPS back to .75. (yes i know the computer controls the idle, but it was just to experiment) here's what i found. with the truck idling at 850-900 rpm in gear, when i hit the gas is was instant GO. my head slammed back into the seat. (that's what happens when you get used to that hesitation) after a bit the computer figured out it didn't like high performance so the PCM detuned what i had done back down to the 600rpm idle. :o( bummer.
