Im sure someone has attempted this, so I'll ask. Has anyone changed out the overhead console with the clip to the one with the garage door openers? Any help would be appreciated.

From what I understand... Your garage door opener would work fine and the compas would work but as far as Milage, Trip Till empty and the other cool stuff like that the wirering would be a real pain. Dodge wouldn't even install one for me if I paid them.
If you do figure it out though.. Please let us know ;-)

This topic came up awhile ago, with no real solid answers! I have the one with the "clip" but it has a spot for the door opener, but I can't figure hoe to make my door opener work in it? So it is still clipped on my visor. I'd love to have had the one with the computer in it.

i made it a flashlight holder .. just plastered a maglight case to the top and then put in my mag ..

howdy there should be some velcro and different size plastic leggo like pieces that came with it.You velcro the remote to the top then select the correct size leggo thing and snap into place on the door side.then you close it and when you need to use it just push up on the door.

I still screw with it every now and then.. I figure I'll dig up my box of leggos later and create something abit more solid.. I keep knocking that little tower of them off. ;-) WEEEEE LEGOS!! .. wonder if I still have mine from years ago.
