Hey I live in Austin,,but I practically live in San Antonio on the weekends.

Ya'll wanna get together and have a lowering-party? My '01 CC sport 4.7 has a 2/3 lowering kit coming in pretty soon, and I'll need some help.

What ya'll think?

Lates,

Andy

Greg,

e-mail me your number or somethin'. I think I'm going to start doin' it this weekend. My timing belt went out so I'm fixing that right now, I'm just taking a break.

I'll prolly only get as far as taking the bed off and painting my frame and what not. You possibly have any days next weekend off?

Thanks
Dave

Why you laugh at my timing belt problems? hehehe I ended up changin' my plugs too, they didn't look too good.

Good thing is, I started it up and it actually ran. It runs well I might add. I didn't screw anything up. Made me feel all neat inside.

i was just referring to the 4 banger with the chuckles...
it always does feel a little better to accomplish something and actually have it work right, huh?

i remember when i rebuilt my shelby engine... had the bottom end worked on at a well known shop and when i finished everything else (3 month project) it wouldnt start worth a damn.... my dad ended up turning the distributer 180 degrees untill it started... and man was that baby loud.... just a straight pipe off of the turbo and i had to run it at 2000 rpms for 20 minutes to breakin the camshaft... i kept setting of car alarms at neighbor's houses.

the problem with the distributer i think was that the shop put the intermediate shaft, that turns the distributer, in in the wrong positions... oops

once again... good job on that.. i am sure you would of loved to see me fix my girls alero... took a whole weekend.

keg?
IP: Logged

Message:
With there bein a keg and Knobbly bringin more beer there will be a bunch of drunk mofos workin on my truck. Dave does not want to have his suspension break apart on the freeway. Dave says no to drinking while working on truck. Besides, Dave is underage. So I guess the 'supervisors' can drink.

Anywho, if yo 'rents won't let us wrench there we can do it at my place. I've got air and such but probably do not have the best place to wrench. My driveway isn't the best place to do it, but will work well if we do end up here. hehehehe

I guess what I'm tryin to say is that either place is cool wit me. Meeting up at your 'rents place would prolly be easier for everyone else though.

go south on 377 until you get to 1709 (or price street or keller parkway.... it has like 5 names) and go east on 1709 until you get to davis boulevard.. go south on davis (about 7-8 miles)and turn west on Harwood rd... apartments will be the last thing on the left before you get to grapevine highway.
