I think it needs more power and well the only thing I can think to do that My dad didn't do for me already is put in a new throttle body and a spacer!! Does any body know who makes a good kit, well what I really want is the best kit!! Also, How long is the installation for a part such as this? Any information would be helpfull!!

Well if you have an r/t it should be fast enuff and not need a tb spacer.. It does absouLOOTLY nothing.. so dont waste your money with it..

TB spacers, fuel enhancers, EGR mods, etc. are a big waste of money and time for the R/T.

Here's some items you should get for significant increased power:

K&N Intake
50mm Throttle Body
Headers/Improved Exhaust
Mopar PCM or PCM Reprogram (depending on year of R/T)

There's lots of little things you can do to give little boosts to driveability here and there as well.

I have a bunch of links to companies that sell this sort of stuff, and www.speedtweaks.net has some good tech tips.

only buy the tb spacer if that fan on your desk is blowing your papers around.

Thanks for all of the replies guys, my truck currently has flowtech ceramic coated headers with a true dual dump with borla flow thrus, a stage 2 jet chip and a Mopar Performance cold air intake!! I am wanting to get the oversized throttle body mainly, hey Mr weather, how long did the installation take you and what kind did you get? I'm not really needing more speed, I just like to add to my list of mods!!

Installation was very simple for the spacer. I got the Helix Power Tower from Summit. I just had to remove the air hat and the four bolts that held the TB to the intake. I lifted it up, took out the factory gasket, and inserted the spacer with the two new gaskets that were included. It also had four longer bolts for the TB. Since you have the Mopar cold air intake you might have hood clearance problems. I heard that they won't fit with the K&N Gen II for that reason. Honestly, I would have much better off taking the money to the local liquor store!

Has anyone tried a spacer on the M1? I can see how the spacer doesn't work on the "beer barrel" because the air just goes into an area. I don't have the M1 yet, but from pics I have seen it looks like if the air was spinning down the intake runners it would benefit. I don't know if that makes sense or I am still drunk from last night. Any thoughts?

A throttle body spacer giving a huge power increase? Have you been listening to the service monkeys behind the parts counter? =) From experience, I've learned to never listen to anything they have to say.
