 Subject: transfer case

Had trouble engaging 4x4 last snow.Turned out vacuum problem. I manually locked in the cad for s few days until snow was gone. Pulling into the shop to unlock it I wiped out my right axel and apparently did something in the transfer case. I have installed a cable disconect for the cad but have no 4x4. I do get low range but have no power going to the front end.Any Ideas before I tear into it this weekend ?
