Subject: 'oo 4.7 Cruise cuts off

Ultra frustrating, after 10 to 15 minutes from cold start the cruise just stops working, light is the only thing that works. I can turn it on & off at will. Changed servo & brake switch--no change. This has been happening all winter long in MN. No trouble lights or codes, everything else works.

Anyone have any answers???

Usually it's temperature related.
Or it could be only happening during daylight saving time. If it happens after Sunday, that ain't it.

As Gonzo hinted, you don't give enough information. And I'll add that you really need to describe the issues a bit more clearly.
Manual shift or automatic?
Only from cold start? Does it work OK after warm start?
Has it been happening only in the winter? That makes it temperature-related.
"light is the only thing that works." By that, do you mean the cruise indicator light on the instrument panel?

Sorry, last post didn't take¿
AT 4X4 SLT Extended cab.
Started last Nov., temp hasn't been above 35-40º since. At first when it would cut out I could hit set or resume & it would catch again for a bit. Then the only thing that would work is the on/off switch to turn the cruise light on or off.
Stopping & shutting off engine & restarting again doesn't help. Now ounce it cuts out, set or resume doesn't work until it sits for several hours.
