It isn't capitalism, it is something like we've never seen before.
It is capitalism in a strange way with corporations robbing the world economy, destroying it in an Adolf Hitler-like dellusion of ruling the world,
It is Communism, where all the broadcast stations in the USA are owned by a couple of corporations that just keep replaying the same tape over and over without ever changing it, to sound like a broadcast station but they really have control of the media so they can cencor out anything they want, to plug the leaks that journalism might expose about the severely corrupt things they are doing (though a wise mind can see everything from what we see on the surface),and all the food and vital survival things they all control and overcharge for, especialy ENERGY and FOOD.
They invade and rob any country they want, like little babies saying "I want it", and are backed by the government to carry it out, because they back the government with $$$!
Too much power in the wrong hands and IT'S ALL OVER!
It is like Socialism because the government taxes us like a socialist country, but the only difference is that we don't get hardly anything in return.
All the debate about USA vs. communism is because it is neither, it is some strange thing now, and it is very dangerous to all of us what is happening!
Pretend it's good now, and experience a lot of pain later!

It is possible to get yourself into a higher tax bracket by working 70-80 hours in one week. The reason for that is the company accountant uses a chart or software that assumes you make that much money each and every week and taxes you accordingly. That doesn't mean that you actually lose all that money it only means that it doesn't get averaged out until the end of the year and then you most likely get a refund or your tax liability is less because of the higher with-holding for those weeks.
It is legal for you to go to your employer and temporarily change your w-4. Most people and employers don't like to do it but you have the legal right to insist on it.
At the end of the year you are unlikely to be in a higher tax bracket just because you worked a lot of overtime for a week or two.
The biggest problem with overtime is that people become accustom to it and get in debt accordingly. That's called living beyond your means. If you have to work overtime to make ends met that is your fault. You live in America and have options.

The government doesn't give you a tax refund at the end of the year, since when?
They just send you a letter saying you can't get the refund you calculated you get (at least they don't say you owe anything either).
It is because of the malice in Social Security. If Social Security messes up your number they should fix it, but they won't, so you can't get your tax refunds. It's all part of their corruption. If they fixed their Social Security errord, then they would have to refund people their tax refunds and let them get student loans and other government services, and they don't want that, so that is why Social Security refuses to fix their mistakes.
If you know of a way to make SS fix their errors that prevent people from getting their tax refunds, I would sure like to know how, and would listen to you good with no critisism at all.
There is Communism and there is capitalism where everyone competes with eachother.
Corporations owning everything is not competition, so it is not capitalism.
It does resemble communism more, where one entity controls everything in our society and our choices are restricted due to limited veriety available.
(just listen to their retarded radio stations play the same mondane recording every day of the same small handful of the same pre-chosen few oldies instead of having a veriety of the thousands of oldies there are.

I get one every year. The fact that you don't may indicate that you don't have enough withheld or you just prefer to pay at the end of the year. Actually, that is the smart way to do it because you have use of that money all year rather than letting the government use it.
I only had the government dispute my refund once and that was settled with a simple phone call.
With all the problems you seem to have with life it's little wonder that you have problems with your tax return too.

Sounds like double speak. Most companies are incorporated therefore, yes, they do own most all businesses. Corporations (businesses) compete with each other. Who else would they compete with?

So, you have problems changing the channel too? Newer radios get more than one channel. Try it.

all the problems U.S. citizens seem to have with life it's little wonder that they have problems with their tax return too-

No, the tax was not under withheld. Those people had their taxes done by professionals and they are supposed to get refunds in the thousands. The government is stealing their property.

I didn't think I needed to be specific about the corporations. I'm not talking about the company down the street that is a corporation with stock holders. It was implied that the destroyers are the MEGA corporate giants that have the monopolies on crucial goods and services, and are taking advantage of the monopoly.
2 corporations owning all the broadcast stations does not compare to a small corporation, that does have competition (until the giants buy them out too), does not soley control a market, obviously.
How do you change the channel when every station is the same corporation playing the same songs on all the other stations as well. You don't get it.
Notice not just how one station plays the same songs everyday, but several stations owned by the same corporation play the SAME same songs on each one.
Turning the dial gives you a choice of "Free Falling" by Tom Petty, "Free Falling" by Tom Petty, or "Free Falling" by Tom Petty, to give an example. You get the idea.
You just described yourself. I'm preaching about how I use my own unbiased observations of what is going on to see the big picture, and you are the one not thinking for yourself and stuck in the "American dream" illusion that isn't really there.
And you didn't support any disagreement about Social Security's screw ups (not the innocent U.S. citizen's) that are the ones to blame for the tax return problems.
That is agreeing that Social Security is violating people's rights. What does that say about the U.S. government.
You can't blame their wrong doing on the innocent U.S. citizens that are the victems.

just a few thoughts, first where I come from when my father was young if he could feed his family on 60plus hours a week he was happy 'cause he was feeding his family... Now I bitch cause i cant afford all the newest techno devices and classic cars on 40. Oh and he was 15 before his parents owned a car and hes only 65. I think it helps me because I don't expect it all right now. I've seen it and lived it. That is not to say there are no problems for there are many. But then there always have been. The civil war, the great Depression, WW2 just to earmark a few of our largest trials... but then there's Vietnam and the Cuban missile crisis and the big gas crunch of the 70's, and the list goes on. My point is there will always be strife and we will always have to deal with crooks and foreigners trying to tear us apart. Tired of it, then do something. Stop whining and insulting eachother
