 Subject: New 3.9 Oil Leak/T-Stat Pipe Weeping

2 Issues:
I noticed a small oil puddle under my '98 3.9
with about 29K mi on it. I looked up
underneath the engine and saw the harmonic
balancer with a dribble running down the
outside, so it's not the front main seal. Am I
observing the result of a weakness in these
enignes? What the hecks is above that that
could leak oil?
Oh, I just replaced the serpentine belt last
week.
The T-Stat pipe weeps, no matter what I do to
seal it properly - someone at the dealer had
ground off the "front" tab (before had I bought
it) and seems to have buggered up the mating
surface; it weeps aroung the bolt holes. Any
better replacements out there?
