Bman42 I think you nailed it. There is no accountability anymore..always someone elses fault. Do you think anyone of the kids talked about in this thread wouold say "I sorry" or "It was my fault" Nah...because that's weak. Just a product of culture and time. Like all ave said before...nothin a the board of education or a regular ass woopin wouldn't cure..... that ain't going to happin either because of the lawyers. (another story). I had a women ask my son "wat the f**K you doin" when he held the door open for her at the mall during Christmas...good messages sent by all. I'm still proud of my kids.

Good to here all of you younger kids, Hell, I'm only 23 myself, but its good to know that the peers of the Slimshady group of kids as some one posted preiviously notices this also. For all of us young people and older for that matter keep up the hard work and enjoy the things you work hard for. As bman42 said everyone gets theirs.... sooner or later.

I am not sure if whether or not the child was raised in a single parent household is to blame. My parents divorced when I was 10 years old and I ended up living with my mother. I have seen plenty of children raised in two parent households out there that have grown into these socially-inept rejects. I think it is the style of upbringing. I am now 22 years old, am working towards a degree in Aeronautical Science , am trying to obtain my instrument rating in pilot training and have been extremely respectful to any adult I have ever met. Living near Detroit, I seem to be near one the breeding grounds for these types of kids. Walk into any public place now, and they are everywhere, in all their better than everyone glory. Alot of them, in my area, come from families with alot of money, and believe that because they see it on TV and hear it in music, that it's okay to conform to that lifestyle. None the less, it's always fun to run with them in their SVT Contours, Escalades and V6 Mustangs with stick on 5.0 badges in my R/T.

Rob454, going back over your experience, I am quite impressed you showed the restraint you did. Very few would have complained had you 'helped' him back into his Escalade (all without opening the doors or windows first...).
