 Subject: New Truck - Bad News

Hi all,
I just discovered this great website yesterday and was about to register and post a happy note about my new truck but I have to start this out with bad news.
This past Tuesday (May 8th) I picked up my factory-ordered 2001 Club Cab SLT V8 Forest Green. Drove it around Thursday and a little bit on Friday, adding about 150 miles to the original 3. This afternoon, the wife took it to have lunch with a friend and her friend noticed oil was spewing out. Had to get it towed to a dealer and one of us will be missing work Monday to be back at the dealer.
What a disappointing start. We haven't had the truck a week yet and it has under 200 miles on it and it's already got problems.
This is very surprising to me. The truck drove very nice before hand and my wife said there was nothing different in the drive today. I know Dodge makes great vehicles and I even worked at the plant where these are made, for a summer. I hope this is just a one time thing.

Bummer. Sounds like they didn't prep it properly, completely the dealerships fault. They should kiss your a** regarding this matter. Sorry this had to happen to you.
