 Subject: Rear seat won't raise

A few weeks ago my rear seat on drivers side (the 40% side) stopped raising up on my 2007 dodge dakota 4 door. The passenger side works fine. when I try to raise it, it sounds like something is hitting and blocking the movement. I have inspected and felt all around everything I could reach but can't see or feel anything holding the seat from raising. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the solution????
