 Subject: Steering recall

Friend of mine up here in Canada said he heard about a recall on some part of the steering unit in the 2000-2002 Dakotas. Thats all he knew, didn't know if it was the QC or what engine size.
Anyone here, hear anything?

I haven't heard anything official, but I know my power steering went out. Went from perfect to noises, leaking, and smoking in a 1hr drive. Warranty covered it all, no problems since then. I have a '00 3.9L V6 5spd Reg. cab.
