 Subject: New Reciever Problem

I put a replacement head unit in my truck, everything works fine but when I crank it up too loud, "not crazy or anything" the head kicks off and then back on. Then I turn it down and it's ok. Is it that the stock speakers can't handle the peak power or is theres not enough power for the head at peak power?

Found out it was the head unit, There is a reset function, "must be a microsoft head" but I figure it was caused by me not disconnecting the battery during install.
PS The reset was pushing and holding the Select, and Power button together.
