 Subject: 5x7/6x8 speakers???

Hey
I just bought some Cerwin-Vega speakers that said on the box they are 5x7/6x8 speakers. I am installing these speakers in the rear panel of my regular cab 93. I go to install them and i can only get the screws in on 1 side of the speakers, they are too big on the other side i think.. they say they are 5x7's so why dont they fit??
Thanks for any tips on installing these!

Wildcatz, I recently installed pioneer 5x7's in my 93 dakota ext. cab LE. They fit perfect and sond excellent for the size. Maybe they r oversized or the basket my be to big... Hope it helps...Try to campare them to ur factory 5x7s.

jk, i had the same sprob. i think u need spec. speakers fitted for toyota
