Subject: QC speaker depth??

Message:
What is the mounting depth in a 01 QC front and rear.
Would MA audio's with 3" mounting depth fit?
I would pull a panel but it is sort of cold right now.

Thanks
Jeff

I just installed new components in my '02 Quad. You have at least 3 inches of space maybe even 4, but there is a bracket that you MUST use, otherwise you can only use something with a 1 inch depth. The bracket is in the car already, you'll see it when you take the door panel off.

Thanks,
One more question - imaging?

When I put all bass to the rear and no treble it sounds like crap. All you hear is bass very definite out of the rear and the rest up front of course. Sounds much better when I put more and a amplified bass w/ the treble in the rear and remove some bass from the front. Is it just me???

Sounds more like I am actually sitting in the music.

Thanks,

Jeff
